Youth Mission Trip
Youth & Young Adult Mission Trip to El Salvador, happening during Spring Break – April 4–11, 2026.

The lack of adequate housing compounds the immense challenges of living in severe poverty for thousands of families in El Salvador. Imagine during the rainy season; a mud floor, a leaking roof, and a mother not being able to put her child down, as she endeavours to move buckets around to try and ensure her family’s belongings are not being soaked. Imagine not being able to secure a door at night to protect your children. Imagine not being able to leave your dwelling to try and find employment because your few possessions may be gone when you return.
A new home = security, improved health, and above all, hope in a better future for a family.
E-Free Lethbridge is excited to work and serve alongside the ShelterHelps staff and families to build ‘hope’ together. To be able to hear the stories of faith and resilience from these families and the difference this home will make in their lives is incredibly impactful and humbling. Their lives are changed forever, as are ours.
