Director of Communications

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a strategic, creative and collaborative communications leader who can help people understand our mission, connect with our ministries and take meaningful next steps.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining communications strategy, storytelling, editorial judgment and practical execution. You’ll help shape how E-Free communicates with both our congregation and the broader community.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and lead effective church-wide communications.
- Tell meaningful stories of discipleship and ministry impact.
- Oversee communication channels, content and creative quality.
- Collaborate with ministry teams to strengthen engagement.
- Evaluate and improve how we communicate as needs and technologies change.

You’ll be proactive, collaborative, digitally capable and committed to helping people connect with the mission of E-Free.
Total Annual Compensation Value
$52,900–$69,200 CAD
Includes:
- Base salary: $48,000–$60,000
- Fully employer-paid health benefits

Pastor of Care & Spiritual Formation
Help People Find Belonging, Grow in Faith and Experience God’s Care
Full-time | 1.0 FTE | Deepen Team
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a relationally gifted, spiritually mature pastor who is passionate about helping people experience Christ-centred community, compassionate care and ongoing spiritual growth.
You’ll build relationships, equip volunteers and develop opportunities for people to grow as disciples of Jesus.
This role emphasizes empowering others for ministry while providing pastoral leadership, teaching and care.
What You’ll Do
- Help people experience meaningful Christ-centred community and belonging.
- Equip volunteers and ministry leaders for congregational care.
- Support discipleship, prayer, spiritual health and healing.
- Develop relational ministry opportunities and care pathways.
- Contribute to biblical teaching, preaching and collaborative pastoral ministry.
Who We’re Looking For
Someone with a growing relationship with Jesus, demonstrated spiritual maturity and exceptional relational abilities.
You’ll bring pastoral wisdom, biblical understanding, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for equipping others to serve.
Total Annual Compensation Value
$54,150–$70,450 CAD
Includes:
- Base salary: $48,000–$60,000
- Fully employer-paid health benefits
- 5% employer RRSP matching after one year
- $1,000 annual professional development allowance
- $250 annual ministry resource allowance
Total value varies based on benefits coverage and RRSP eligibility. Allowances are designated for their stated purposes.

Executive Assistant & Systems Manager
Bring Clarity, Organization and Momentum to Ministry
Part-time | 0.8 FTE | 32 hours/week | Support Team
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a proactive, highly organized professional to support executive leadership and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
This unique role combines executive assistance with systems and process management, helping our leaders and staff work more effectively.
You’ll anticipate needs, coordinate priorities and develop practical solutions that support ministry.
What You’ll Do
Executive Assistance & Special Projects — 0.5 FTE
- Support the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, priorities and follow-up.
- Prepare documents and support special projects.
- Anticipate administrative needs and keep commitments moving forward.
Systems & Process Management — 0.3 FTE
- Develop and improve organizational workflows.
- Strengthen administrative processes and Planning Center systems.
- Help staff adopt consistent, effective processes.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve organizational work.
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who is exceptionally organized, dependable and proactive.
You’ll be confident with technology, comfortable managing competing priorities and skilled at turning complexity into workable systems.
Strong communication, discretion and collaborative relationships are essential.
Total Annual Compensation Value
$42,820–$56,600 CAD
Part-time | 0.8 FTE | 32 hours/week
Includes:
- Base salary: $38,400–$48,000
- Fully employer-paid health benefits at the same coverage level as full-time employees
- 5% employer RRSP matching after one year
Total value varies based on benefits coverage and RRSP eligibility. Health benefits are not prorated for this position.
