“Main Foyer Refresh” 

Saturday, August 16, 2025 

8:30AM – 3PM  

TASKS: 

• Fluorescent lightbulb replacement 

• New dispensers installation (Toilet paper, Paper towel, Soap) 

• Main washrooms : Men’s & Women’s 

• East Hallway Painting 

• Replace ceiling tiles in foyer 

TEAM LEADS NEEDED: (3x) 

• Painting 

• Lightbulb & ceiling tiles replacement 

• Dispenser installation 

VOLUNTEER NEEDS: (12x) 

• Painting team: 4 volunteers + lead 

• Lightbulb team: 4 volunteers + lead 

• Handy team: 4 volunteers + lead 

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS 

• Ladder | Scaffolding | Lift use: 

• Ladder: comfortable using 6-8 ft ladders 

• Scaffolding: must be steady on elevated platforms 

• Lift operation: only certified individuals may operate lift. (must provide proof of certification) 

• Lifting & Motion: 

• Able to lift and carry 3- 12 lbs depending on task (paint cans, ceiling tiles, dispensers) 

• Able to lift arms above head 

• Physically capable of climbing onto scaffolding and ladders safely (not all tasks require this) 

• General: 

• Wear appropriate clothing (painters might get paint on clothing, other jobs might get clothing dirty) 

• Comfortable standing for extended periods 

• Willing to follow safety instructions and leader guidance 

PROJECTED WORKDAY SCHEDULE: 

8:30AM – Volunteer Check-in & light breakfast (muffins, coffee) 

9:00AM – Opening Prayer & Briefing 

9:15AM – Assign teams & begin work 

12:00PM – Lunch (provided) 

12:45PM – Resume work 

2:30PM – Clean up 

3:00PM – Wrap-up, thank you, team photo
