Summer Youth Internships – Evangelical Free Church of Lethbridge 

Summer 2025 |  Full-Time, Paid Positions 
Applicants must be between the ages of 18–30 

Are you looking for a summer opportunity to grow in your faith, develop valuable skills, and make a difference in your community? The Evangelical Free Church of Lethbridge is hiring passionate and creative young adults to join our team for the summer! 

We’re offering 5 unique internship opportunities. Whether you love working with kids, connecting with youth, or creating musical and digital content, there’s a place for you here. 

Available Positions: 

1. Children’s Ministry Intern  

  • Help create a fun, safe, and faith-filled environment for kids. 
  • Assist with planning and leading children’s programming, specifically with the weekly Sunday school program and our week-long day camp event in early August. 
  • Build relationships with kids and families, sharing the love of Jesus through meaningful interactions. 
  • Recruit and lead teams of volunteers. 

 

2. Children’s Day Camp Coordinator (starting mid June) 

  • Lead the planning and execution of our weeklong day camp event in early August. 
  • Recruit and lead teams of volunteers. 
  • Help create a fun, safe, and faith-filled environment for kids. 
  • Build relationships with kids and families, sharing the love of Jesus through meaningful interactions. 

 

3. Youth / Young Adult Ministry Intern  

  • Engage with middle and high school students and youth adults in a dynamic, relational setting. 
  • Help plan and run youth/young adult events and outreach activities, including a week at Camp Nookoowai in July. 
  • Encourage and mentor students as they grow in their faith and navigate life’s challenges. 
  • Plan and build resources for the next ministry year.  

 

4. Communications Content Creator Intern  

  • Capture the heart of our church through photography, videography, and graphic design. 
  • Create engaging content for our website, social media, and internal communications. 
  • Use your creativity to tell powerful stories and connect our church family in fresh ways.

 

5. Worship Arts Intern  

  • Engaging Worship Communicator who leads worship and speaks in ways that move people of all ages toward Jesus. 
  • Creative Ministry Builder – Plans, teaches, and organizes meaningful Worship Arts experiences while developing others. 
  • Agile, Tech-Savvy Self-Starter – Adapts quickly, solves problems, and leverages technology effectively. 
  • Mission-Driven Team Contributor – Joyfully advances the church’s mission while thriving in collaborative ministry. 

 

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • Young adults aged 18–30 (per funding requirements). 
  • People who love Jesus and are eager to serve the church and community. 
  • Team players with positive attitudes, ready to learn and contribute. 
  • Organized and reliable individuals who can take initiative and bring ideas to life. 
  • For the Communications role: experience with photography, video editing, and graphic design is required. 
  • For the Worship Arts role: musical experience and proficiency is required.
