“Christmas UN-decorating Party” 

Saturday, January 10, 2026 

8:30AM – 3PM 

TASKS: 

• Pull all trees and ornament boxes out of storage 

• UN-Decorate Christmas trees and put ornaments back in designated bins neatly 

• Dismantle Christmas trees and put them back in their boxes 

• Put away all tree & ornament boxes neatly in storage space 

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS 

• Ladder use 

• comfortable using 3-10 ft ladders (not required for all volunteers, but at least 2) 

• Lifting & Motion: 

• Able to lift and carry 10- 40 lbs depending on task (Christmas Ornament bins, boxed Christmas Trees; team lift will be required for some) 

• Ability to do stairs while carrying boxes an asset. 

• Able to lift arms above head 

• Physically capable of climbing ladders safely (not all tasks require this) 

• General: 

• Comfortable standing for extended periods 

• Willing to follow safety instructions and leader guidance 

• Ability to work in teams and independently 

PROJECTED WORKDAY SCHEDULE: 

8:30AM – Volunteer Check-in & light breakfast (muffins, coffee) 
9:00AM – Opening Prayer & Briefing 
9:15AM – Assign teams & begin work 
12:00PM – Lunch (provided) 
12:45PM – Resume work 
2:30PM – Clean up 
3:00PM – Wrap-up, thank you, team photo
