Global Scholars Canada’s Mission – To identify, develop, send, equip and support missional Christian academics for work, … with the objective to inspire and influence students and institutional communities with the promise of Christian vocation and worldview for a deeper participation in God’s kingdom, including the flourishing of people and the planet, locally and globally.

Global Scholars Canada commissions Stephen to invest in like-minded organizations: he catalyzes international mentoring relationships (through the Society of Christian Scholars), develops new ways of resourcing Christian faculty in Canada (through Inter-Varsity Canada), and trains first-year PhD students in academic research writing (through the University of Makeni, Sierra Leone).

Word Made Flesh’s Mission – To serve Jesus among the most vulnerable of the world’s poor.

Jennifer Ney serves as a Global Advocate, with the responsibilities of supporting the work of global Word Made Flesh (WMF) communities, such as WMF Sierra Leone and WMF Rwanda. This involves mobilizing churches and individuals to participate in God’s work of holistic transformation in poor neighborhoods throughout the world and strengthening WMF ministries globally.
