“Conversation & Community with a School Counselor”

Speaker: Robyn Mackenzie
A current look at trends in our schools and some strategies for helping our teens navigate them.

“Elementary School Question Panel”

Speakers: Owen & Pam Ukrainetz, Mark & Bonnie Dyck
We’ve invited parents and professionals from our congregation to come and share their personal experience. Some topics may include: consistent discipline, age appropriate consequences, “fairness” when older children are given freedoms, screen time, relationship with kids, practical ways to discuss ways to discipline our children. We’ve prepared some questions, but we encourage you to bring your questions and join us for open and honest discussions. It’s a chance to gain insight from those who have journeyed through this stage!!

“Navigating Sexual Identity Among Teens”

Speaker: Levi Fraser
While it can be hard to navigate conversations around sexual identity, it is a must if we are in relationship with today’s youth. Having worked through struggles of sexual identity while in middle school and high school, I will share the five things that either helped or would have helped me through this journey.
