Myron Krause

Minister of Intercultural Ministries

Myron is a life-long Albertan whose extended family roots are in Wetaskiwin, but he has lived in Calgary, Edmonton and, now, Lethbridge. He has always made himself home wherever he has lived, including doing the unthinkable and trading sports loyalties between the Flames & Oilers / Stampeders & Eskimos.

He and his wife (Polly), along with their three children (Grace, Timothy, Rose), have very much enjoyed sunny southern Alberta where they have met many wonderful people and made many good friends.

Myron has spent his career serving those on the margins of society, much of it with The Mustard Seed ministries in Edmonton and Calgary, and he has had the privilege of seeing countless lives restored and transformed by Jesus – not only the lives of the homeless and the incarcerated he served, but also the lives of volunteers who assisted and befriended “the least of these”. He finds great fulfillment in seeing people work together in support of a common cause that contributes to the betterment of our planet and society.

Myron looks forward to seeing E-Free step up to the challenge of creatively engaging in deeper ways with our city, province, country and world so that more stories of transformation can be told.
