We have missed you! Now that restrictions are starting to lift in the province, we want to reconnect with each other and have begun planning events throughout the summer to do just that. Check out our list of dates and events posted here, and plan to join us as we celebrate “a Slice of Summer” together!

Thursday, July 8 – The forecast for the next couple of weeks is hot, hot, hot, and what better way to beat the heat than a water fight!  You can bring your own water guns or use the water balloons that will be provided.  Pack up your families, come to the back parking lot at 6:30 to join in the fun!

Wednesday, July 14 – Unless you are out of town, you are not going to want to miss this – Eric Braun, live and in concert in our back parking lot!  Eric and his band will put on a concert around 7.  There will also be a small show’n’shine in the northeast corner of the parking lot starting at 6, so come down and enjoy some classic cars and some classic tunes.

Saturday, July 24 – We are having a church picnic!  Plan to spend the afternoon down at Pavan Park at the John Martin picnic shelter with our church family.  The coffee will be on at 10:30 for those who would like to sit and visit in the cool of the day but come down anytime between then and 4:00.  Families are invited to bring their lunch and their lawn chairs and come enjoy the day, including games and activities for kids.

Grab lunch at the new KFC North and get 10% off with this printed coupon.

Wednesday, July 28 – We are hosting a variety of team games from 6:30 – 8:30 in the back parking lot – Jared is taking point on this, so you know it will a ton of fun!

Friday, August 6 – A movie night in the gym.  Stay tuned for more details.

Thursday, August 12 – “Take me out to the ball game…” – let’s cheer on our hometown Lethbridge Bulls baseball team together! If you’re interested in joining us, buy your tickets online to the August 12 game (Regular Season Home Game #19) between the Lethbridge Bulls and the Sylvan Lake Gulls for Bleacher Section D (cost is $9/ticket). Bleacher seats are unassigned. Tickets are available at at https://tickets.bullsbaseball.com/.

Saturday, August 21 – The plan is to host a Chili Cook-off in the church parking lot, depending on restrictions, as well as another small show’n’shine to allow our congregation members who have classic cars another opportunity to bring them out.

Friday, August 27 – Worship Night:  we’ll end the summer the way we started – praising God in the back parking lot! Stay tuned for more details.

Starting July 5th, you will be able to pick up your child's take home pack and access the VBS playlist on YouTube. You as the parent/caregiver will be leading VBS with your kids and in a timeframe that works for your family. Gather with friends, set up VBS in the backyard or at the campsite.... the possibilities are endless.

These online videos will include songs, activities, games, Bible lessons, and crafts for you to do WITH your kids at home. Matt and Rosie will provide detailed instructions in the videos on exactly what to do, as well as providing leader manuals and supply lists so that you are all well prepared!

The cost of VBS @ Home is $5 per child (max of $15 a family) -- this covers the cost of all the take-home materials for each child, including instruction booklets and craft supplies. Payments can be made online or in person.

Join us this summer for a small group study:
“A Stroll Through Corinth with Pastor Paul: Studies in Paul’s letters to the Corinthians”

Summary: The more things change the more they stay the same. Church division. Moral confusion. The structure of public worship. Challenges to church leadership. Fulfilling commitments. Sound familiar? Well, those were some of the issues in the church of Corinth over 1900 years ago and as you probably know, are still of concern today. Come and learn how Paul pastorally responds to these and other issues in a way that resonates today.

Duration: 8 weeks

Pick a night: Monday or Wednesday

Maximum of 9 people per night so register soon.

Join us if you are already part of a small group or not.
