Gathering in small groups is the primary way to connect with others and be challenged in your spiritual life to follow Jesus.
SMALL GROUPS IN THE SUMMER
Summer has a different pace. The days are long and hopefully sunny and the cabin or the campsite pull strongly on many. Because so many people are away, many of our small groups take a break over the summer. However, there are still ways to connect in community.
Some of our Life Groups are planning to continue through the summer. If you are looking to join a community where you will be challenged to grow in your understanding of Jesus and his kingdom, in the experience of God’s love, and in participation in Jesus’ mission, Life Groups are for you. For more information on which groups are continuing through the summer, contact Don.
Short-Term Summer Life Group
If you want to try out a Life Group or are looking for a community to connect with this summer, sign up for our 8-week Summer Life Group. This summer we are planning to offer:
Gospel in Life (Timothy Keller)
Tuesdays (July 4 – August 22), 7-9PM
This study will explore how the Gospel impacts and is lived out in every area of our lives: our heart, our community, and our world. Participants should be prepared to spend about 10 minutes/day (1 hour/week) preparing between sessions.
For more information and to sign up, contact Don.
If there is enough interest, we will try to offer another Life Group on Thursday evenings with the same topic.
“Simply put, your progress spiritually hinges on your willingness
to enter into structured relationships with other believers.”
– Andy Stanley
