Understanding Poverty & Supporting Families in Crisis
Safe Families is giving back to our church community with an engaging and practical training on understanding poverty and how we can better support families in crisis. This session will explore how poverty shapes decisions, challenges common assumptions, and invites us to respond with compassion and humility. Grounded in Scripture—“Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40)—we’ll reflect on how God equips ordinary people to love in extraordinary ways. Whether you’re involved in a community organization or simply want to learn more, join us for this free talk on Sunday, March 22, from 3:30–4:45 pm.
