Over the past year, we’ve been working through the book of Romans in our Sunday teaching series. In February, we will pick up where we left off at Romans 9. If you’re just joining us or need a refresher, here are some resources to help you jump in.
Romans: Extreme Makeover of the Soul
A 5-Session, Co-Ed Bible Study | Bi-weekly on Thursdays from 7:30–9:15 pm | Feb 22, Mar 1, 15, 29, April 12
Led by Samantha Postman
Topic: How God Transforms Our Lives, based on Romans 5 to 8:31
Have you ever wondered what God had in mind when he made you in the first place? Have you ever wondered if this life is really worth all the pain and heartache? God wants to make us into new people—an extreme makeover of the soul, something we cannot do on our own. Our first session will cover Biblical interpretation foundations followed by 4 sessions: Justification: A Clean Slate where Christ clears the way for a new life built on hope; Sanctification: A Daily Choice; Transformation: God wants to transform you from the person you are to the person he created you to be; Heaven: The Great Reveal. Meets in Room 124.
• Attendance is required at the February 22, Biblical foundations study in order to attend the other sessions.
• Due to allergies, this is a perfume free study.
• No childcare is provided.
