Easter 2019

“But these things are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:31)

Good Friday
April 19 at 9:15 & 11:00 am

We will gather for a simple service of communion and reflection as we remember the events leading up to the crucifixion and the sacrifice Jesus made to give us life.

Kids Zone: Programming for nursery and preschool children will be available.

Easter Sunday
April 21 at 10:00 am | Exhibition Park South Pavilion

All are welcome to join us as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and the new life we have in His name!

Doors open at 9:15 am with a bouncy castle and egg hunts for the kids before and after the service, cinnamon buns and coffee, and our whole church worshiping together in one amazing service—it’s going to be a great day!

Kids Zone: Because we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be part of this celebration, children of all ages are invited to participate in the worship service with our entire church family.

Colouring packs will be available. If you prefer, we have a fully equipped Family Zone where parents can supervise their children while still enjoying a live feed of the service.

FAQs

I’m worried my kids will be a distraction—what if they can’t sit through the service?
Please bring them anyway! We know kids get the wiggles and we expect this will be part of the energy of our service. You and your child are a valuable and precious part of our church family and we want you to be part of this celebration. Bring their sippy cups and snacks, favourite stuffy, and fidget toys. If you need to, you can always slip out to the Family Zone where they can move around and play while you participate in the service with other caregivers around the big screen TV.

Will the services be available by live stream?
Neither the Good Friday nor the Easter Sunday services will be available by live stream. The Easter Sunday service will be recorded and made available online the following week.

Where should I park?
The easiest access will be from the south parking lot, then enter the doors for the Main Pavilion.

Will we be outdoors at Exhibition Park?
No, we will meet indoors, in the South Pavilion.

What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you have children, please have them wear or bring socks for the bouncy castle.
