Community Outreach
We have good news that we want to announce and demonstrate to the world. While every follower of Jesus is called to share the gospel in their circles of influence, we also have several ways that our church works together with others to convey God’s love for the world. This is an overview of the local organizations we are engaged with as a church, many that reflect God’s heart for those experiencing brokenness and poverty. Consider how you can be a part of making our community a better place in Jesus’ name.
January Giving Campaign
For the month of January, we are collecting spices, salts and oils for the Interfaith Food Bank. These items can be dropped off at the shelf in the main lobby.

Advent Conspiracy 25:40
Matthew 25:40 – Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
Advent Conspiracy has become a cherished tradition in our church—a movement that challenges us to spend less, give more, love all, and worship fully during the Christmas season. Each year, we invite our congregation to redirect a portion of their Christmas spending toward supporting a meaningful project, making a real difference in the world. Join us in celebrating Christmas with purpose, generosity, and a heart centered on Christ.
This year’s Advent Conspiracy is supporting 3 projects for our local partners; Streets Alive and the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen.
1. Restoration of Dignity Programs at Street Alive ($24,000)
Streets Alive offers compassionate programs like Foot Fridays for foot care, the P.I.N. Bank for clothing, and Care Cuts for haircuts and dignity, all aimed at restoring health, confidence, and a sense of worth to those in need. As Streets Alive moves into their new building, these funds will provide new equipment to help the success of these programs.
2. Exodus Men’s Life Recovery Program at Streets Alive($60,000)
The Exodus Men’s Life Recovery Program is a faith-centered initiative that helps men heal, rebuild relationships, and transform their lives through therapy, counseling, skill development, and spiritual growth. We are excited to see these funds used to furnish the extra rooms at the new apartment for this recovery program.
3. Lethbridge Soup Kitchen Expansion ($35,000)
As an organization, the mission of the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen is to share the love of Jesus with their homeless neighbours by providing them with hot/nutritious meals. As the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen plans for their expansion to help meet the needs of our unhoused population, these funds will support buying new equipment to furnish the expansion.
4. Re-Purpose Donation Centre & Supplemental Food Bank at Streets Alive ($37,000)
The Re-Purpose Donation Centre provides those in need with household items and clothing at no cost. This project with provide some key items to set up this centre at the new location, including rolling ladders, large shelving, locking storage, clothing storage and more.
5. If all 4 projects are funded ($156,000), any additional funds received will be split 50/50 between Streets Alive and Lethbridge Soup Kitchen as a general donation.
